Setting Up A Society For Poker In New Zealand
It’s not too difficult to set up a society, but there are a few things that you will need; At least 15 starting members, A set of rules for the society An initial setup fee of $102.22 (correct at time of writing) Step 1 First thing to do is set up some rules for your society, these are the rules for the club and not rules for a game of poker, these rules cover how the club will operate internally. There are minimum requirements for these rules but you can expand and add to them. Here is a link to an outline of the rules according to Societies NZ Step 2 Choose a name for your club, this has to be something that hasn’t already been registered with societies NZ.
